Certain organizations, including Veterans Today, have been sending veterans to those American cities, where Occupy protests have been taking place for nearly two months, to "control what has been police violence," said American journalist Gordon Duff.

Duff made the remarks in an interview with Press TV's U.S. Desk on Thursday, when asked about a Marine veteran, Scott Olsen, who sustained a skull fracture after being shot in the head by a rubber bullet by police during "Occupy Oakland" protests Tuesday night.

"What went out in Oakland is an act of terror against American citizens perpetrated by police on behalf of banks," he noted.

He went on to say, "We were very upset with the New York police because we found that they were taking money from the banking organizations, many of them working directly for the banks. We have developed a very severe lack of trust in our police organizations."
