  • Great video. I'm also on the verge of reading Bernal Diaz del Castillo's Memoirs of the Conquistador. When I began reading it I couldn't stop. It absorbs you at what they went through.

  • @emmthreejonny Indeed, it opened me up to Spanish history. From St James, Ferdinand and Isabella, to Charles V, Don Juan, Phillip II, right through until the civil war and Franco. It all taught this Englishman - Dios es Espanyol

  • Conquistadors suffer cos of modern socio-marxists rewriting history, nice to see there are still people who dig those conquistadors.

  • This video is aces. Child sacrificing cannibals. It alwys makes me laugh when a cruel military imperalistic power comes up against a less cruel but

larger on. PC history classes suck.

  • @aguichris Yes, I am.

  • @SantaRoma thanks lots one more thing im curious are you english?

  • @aguichris Bernal Diaz - Conquest of New Spain / Letters from Mexico - Hernan Cortes / William Prescott - History of the Conquest of Mexico, with a Preliminary View of Ancient Mexican Civilization, and the Life of the Conqueror, Hernando Cortes / Francisco Lopez De Gomara - Cortes: The Life of the Conqueror of Mexico by His Secretary, Francisco Lopez De Gomara.

  • @SantaRoma wow that is impressive! do you know any good books about this ?

  • I'm glad they were conquered. Human sacrifices? They led more a ruthless, more imperialistic, insanely superstitious society than their conquerors. I wonder why @stingingtruth would even bother defending these natives. These Spaniards didn't conquer Garden of Eden it was not all innocent and beautiful. I'm not much for coercion but I think coercion was needed to save this people and their culture, hard to believe it. These natives weren't going anywhere with their ways.

  • @supersmash43 The films : 1492 - The Foutain - Alatriste - White Squall - Apocalypto - Aguirre Wraith of God - The Mission - Heroes and villians Cortez.

  • @SantaRoma what sources did you get the clips from?
