WDBJ-7 Roanoke TV Report on the Death of Sandy Scott

WDBJ-7 TV in Roanoke VA ran this obituary piece on legendary pro-wrestler Sandy Scott who died Thursday March 11, 2010 after a tough fight with pancreatic cancer. Sandy was 75 years old. As can be seen here, Sandy had been very active with a local independent promotion (ACW Wrestling in Rocky Mount) and had enjoyed being part of pro-wrestling again all these years later. He will be missed by all his friends and fans. Our sincere condolences to his family.

The segment was produced (as is the entire WDBJ newscast) by friend of the Mid-Atlantic Gateway Thom Brewer, who helped us out tremendously a few years back on our Studio Wrestling feature on WDBJ-7 in Roanoke.
