What year is this?

This song is just as important today as the day it was written. Different wars, but George "W" Bush was remotely involved in both. Their was first Vietnam where him, and Dan Quayle were both given cushy positions in the National Guard to avoid the draft, and then it was the 2nd Gulf war where once again he watched others send their sons off to war.
I just can't listen to this song without shouting out F U George Bush !! John Fogerty has written lots of good songs, but this 1 is in Video Games!

kenny started with mellancamp i believe

Amazing!!

@dockaiser i have to disagree. ACDC is real good, but this isnt their style of music, so in my opinion their version would be horrible, simply because they are heavier rock than this.
-
Now this would be great to hear in an ACDC version - I'm just imagining Bon Scott singing and Phil Rudd on the drums Angus and Malcolm doing their thing ...

great performance and emamdom... yer right Kenny Arnoff is great!
-
ke grande fogerty...
-
@emamdom Sure, but none plays CCR songs in the original way like Doug Clifford, same with Stu Cook, none plays CCR songs on bass in the original way like him, also with John (not with vocals, but the lyrics are actually correct) at lead guitar! :D

@PitbuyllGamingHounds ..John Wrote and of course originally Sang this song

Kenny Aronoff is one of the premier drummers alive. John Fogerty is an outstanding guitar player, lest anyone think he's weak in that area. He uses all his fingers, something not a lot of guitar players can do. This guy just gets better with age. Try reading Bad Moon rising by Hank Bordowitz. Creedence is really one of rock's saddest stories. A great group of guys who made it, lost it, and are making it back, though in different directions.
