Kenny Aronoff is one of the premier drummers alive. John Fogerty is an outstanding guitar player, lest anyone think he's weak in that area. He uses all his fingers, something not a lot of guitar players can do. This guy just gets better with age. Try reading Bad Moon rising by Hank Bordowitz. Creedence is really one of rock's saddest stories. A great group of guys who made it, lost it, and are making it back, though in different directions.

I appreciate that this is the original song from John Forgerty and if it wasn't for him, Wyclef couldn't done his, but Wyclef's version is alot better.

Aronoff is certainly a fine drummer (even if I forget that he used to play with Mellenhead) but he's one of those "hey, look how hard I'm working" bangers. Not cool at all.

I just saw Fogerty for the first time in my life this past night, and at times I thought to myself "only Aronoff can do him justice" and once, "Thank God for Kenny Aronoff". and yes Fogerty is an AMAZING guitarist. But when I heard the intro to this, a version I have considered definitive almost since it aired, I went crazy. Wonderful. Creedence indeed had a sad story but nothing can never take away from their music.

Kenny is a fantastic drummer and teamed up with John makes for a dynamic duo. Throw Stu Cook in there with them, in which he has been playing with John at a few gigs of late and they can rock the house.
