What I can tell you is consistent practice and time will bring balance to your body and mind. If you are strong but stiff, you will gain more flexibility. If you are pretty flexible but weak, like I was, you will get stronger. I have most definitely gotten more flexible too, even as late as my 40's and now at 52 my backbends are still getting deeper. @yogilauren im 29. startet ashtanga 5 months ago moving forward pretty quick but i was wondering if i still can get that much further even if u start that "late"..
makes me hope and enjoy and keeping my practice deep.

Hi Lauren, this is really nice and graceful and peaceful to watch.
but would like to know how you deal with injuries, as im sure many of the yoga practitioners had injured themselves before.
and any suggestion on how to deeper the back bending?

Ooh I don't check this page much. I've been dabbling in yoga for almost twenty years. My consistent practice spans about 16 years.
