At a time when the Catholic Church in America is struggling to fill the ranks of its clergy, one Dominican order is attracting large numbers of young women into religious service.
@thecolaratlady i'm more into the more conservative orders.theres a Buddhist monastery in South Korea, they have little to no contact with the outside world, and this monastery is soo respected that wars have been fought around them
Some orders are more conservative then others, some are more moderate, and some more liberal, depends on which way you feel, the right order to enter.
@Shareallicu3 I understand what you're saying, and things may have changed since I left the Catholic Church. I attended Catholic schools for five years; this was just a few years after Vatican II.
Back then, they lived very cloistered lives. Many years later, I had the opportunity to work with them, and they had come out to be more a part of the world. They were really neat people; but the Church still seemed to keep them "muzzled" Sad. They had much to teach others..

Kneel. Stand. Kneel. Bow. Kneel. Sit. Kneel. Bow again. Stand again. Kneel again.
Wow!! With all of that, why would Catholics need a gym membership?

How is it that some people can wear white clothing and look nice and neat??
Anytime I wear white shirts, ant dirt within a radius of ten feet will jump off whatever it's on, and onto my shirt!!
