Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes - Love Can Bloom

This scene wasn't included in the supposedly "complete" movie files of MGS:TT that I downloaded. SO I RECORDED IT MYSELF. BECAUSE IT IS WONDERFUL AND AMAZING AND EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE IT AT THEIR FINGERTIPS AT ALL TIMES

I also deliberately fell on the stairs, because I think it's hilarious to make Snake do that. Raiden too. I THOUGHT YOU MIGHT GET A KICK OUT OF IT.

I love how there's that nice panning shot of Snake before Otacon asks him if he's ever fallen in love. Also how Snake just randomely pushes Otacon around some more. WHY DO YOU DO THAT SNAKE DOES IT MAKE YOU FEEL BIG AND IMPORTANT TO PUSH A NERD AROUND
Then again, Otacon never tells him to cut it out or reacts to it. YOUR RELATIONSHIP DYNAMIC IN THIS GAME IS SO WACKY GUYS

why does everyone think gay when they see this? Otacon's talking about Sniper Wolf, he and Snake are becoming like brothers now so he feels he can talk about it to Snake more than anyone else...

I dunno, at this point if you're playing for the first time, there's not a lot that tells you that Otacon is talking about Wolf rather than Snake. I mean, if you get the Ninja escape from the cell, you don't even find out about the handkerchief... this could come completely out of left field for a lot of people, and since there's that long panning shot of Snake...

At least, that's what I thought my first time through.

At first I also found it odd that Snake pushed Otacon around, but then I realized that its actually a sign of how much Snake has come to trust him. During a time where even his closest friend, Campbell, was acting suspicious, only Otacon was the one who never lied to him. This moment of innocent honesty earned him more respect from Snake. This was probably where their "brotherhood" began.
