No. Not according to scientific classification. They are a fungus. Fungi are have no seeds. They reproduce via spores.
Of course to cooks they are.
Technically Banana's are a grass by classification...and tomatoes are a fruit.

Saw this on TV in the early 70's on channel 9 with "Seymore's Creature Features".
He would place himself in the movie calling "Pizza Fella" for pizas with extra mushrooms.
