Timelapse of sketching in Painter using the Hantech Siso Tablo pen input system with my netbook. The $99 Siso Tablo transforms any laptop with a display of up to 15.4" into a tablet pc. There is NO PRESSURE SENSITIVITY. There is more info at http://www.slashgear.com/hantech-siso-tablo-review-finally-2644675/

  • Thank you for your insightful video. I just ordered Siso Tablo two days ago. I hope I'll be satisfied. As a struggling artist, I can't afford costly Cintiq pen. With Siso Tablo, I hope I can create artworks as quickly as possible. I can't wait for its arrival in the post.

  • @2urita I hope you find useful.

  • is this a pressure sensitive pen and will it work with any laptop tablet?

  • @wuhlei as it says in the annotations, there is no pressure sensitivity. The digital pen system converts an ordinary laptop into a tablet and will work on displays up to 15 inches.

  • @trancer65 I just assumed because I was searching you tube for pressure sensitive pens for laptops. This is an infrared led pen isnt?

  • @wuhlei No, it is not an infrared pen. I think the Siso Tablo pen communicates to the sensor by sound. You will get more details by following the link I provided.

  • If you're an artist and want a proper tool, buy a tablet that actually uses pressure sensitivity. It may be a luxury to be able to draw right onto the screen, but without pressure sensitivity it will be a challenge to achieve the results you seek as an aspiring artist.

It is a nice alternative, but a real tablet is always better.

  • Well, i would get this to edit small shit on my 24 inch screen. but an intuos4 is much better >.>

  • Netbook is too small to draw some real paintings for most people IMO

  • omg! nice !!!
