I'll have to say this a great martial arts school. But this place seems a little commercial to me actually. I've went to one of these and it seemed way commercial. Other than that everyone is nice and my school doesn't really do tricks, just focusing on self defense. We also focus on our codes of karate. which is like believing in yourself,ect.

This martial arts place looks great for a little confidence booster. I do isshinyru karate and we just focus on fitness, confidence, and defence against all harmers of the world. For a camp trip, I went to one of the studios and I did not understand one of the lessons. The instructor said that when someone attacks you and wants something from you, you just put it down and run away. I do not think this is a good effect. What if it was your child or a college fund? I do not understand.

These commercial places give black belts to children. At my school, you have a 1 1/2 day test. You have to be at least 15!

and here I thought the martial arts was about respecting others. I see that some places have a peeing contest to see who isthe better school. Thanks for your opion Jazzdancer11....keep dancing and best of luck!
