My favorite N.J. record store. This guy Rob Roth turned me on to the greatest punk garage records as a 25 year old youth. Spent 100's of hours in this store. Best prices anywhere. Thanks Rob!
It's super cool hearing a bit more of the back story about Vintage. I've lived down the street from Vintage for about 20 years and have going since about the mid 90s and I never knew it use to be a comic store.
Bleh, tis a shame they closed the A&P there. That's exactly what needed to be there, I use to love going through all the cool used records and CDS and then picking up a snack and a drink at the A&P before walking home. Rite Aid just doesn't cut it...
As a native and former resident of Middlesex County,New Jersey. I've set foot and shopped in this store before. One guy I knew from high school even worked in the store. I would even eat at the china Buffet restaurant and go to the library nearby.
Opened earlier than 82-83....probably the late 70's. Was incredible from day 1.
