Poet and Marshall University Professor Mary Moore answers the call of California's First Lady. Journalist Maria Shriver encouraged poetry lovers and lovers of the arts to help celebrate National Poetry Month by reading and video recording favorite poems. Shriver challenged participants to upload the videos as part of a Virtual Poetry Reading. In this video, Mary Moore reads two poems that are special to her. The first, "Egrets Along the Yolo Causeway," is by poet Susan Kelly-Dewitt, a good friend of Moore's. The second, "The Shampoo," is by poet Elizabeth Bishop.
