Is America just gone to hell in a hand basket? How anyone vote for Obama!? I mean, I just don't understand it. Garsha321 - I agree that the type of terrorism that occurred during 911 can't happen in America , or anywhere on the Continent without making people stand up and take notice , as opposed to what we see elsewhere in the Middle East. That is the underlying problem , as it was also discovered that the Saudi's padded the amounts of oil reserves they had without fear of any negative repercussions. We are dealing with people who have made deals on a massive scale , with no respect for anyone else.

Your in a war.A war started by islam and it has been attacking the west for 1300 years.The US has been attacked consistently since the Iaranian hostage crisis in 1979.They try to kill your people every day and were particulary successful on 9/11 when 3000 people were murdered in less than 3 hours.The people in guantamona were caught in the field of battle trying to kill your fellow country men.Some openly admitted to being terrorists...these people are evil and deserve all that they invite.

yes iraq and the world are better places without Saddam and his rapist sons. but do you really think we should just follow the terrorists everywhere they go? it would be ENDLESS. you have no more legit terrorists in iraq anymore its all pissed off natives, all of which just want to be left alone. do you really want to continue this war on terror get out of the middle east in 2030?they have a surplus that's what happens when you don't pay the arm or police to do anything. we do that for them atm.

of course they move around, first rule of guerrilla warfare, make sure the enemy doesn't know where you are. you know we have been invading for what 6 years? AND the original excuse was WMD's which we found none, the only reason we have a "terror" problem now is b/c of policing. face it people in the country they love are VERY territorial and dislike foreigners. you think terrorists would stay in the same place and let themselves be surrounded?

one is the act of a diluted person who thinks they are doing the right thing, and the other is the act of another person on someone who may very well know nothing of what they want. you need more of an explanation why torture is bad? go ask John McCain because when asked about it he said he didn't agree with torture in any way. you know why? hes been tortured. funny how no other rep on that stage all who had not been tortured at any time, said it was okay.
