Starfox 64 - The end of Venom's Tunnel

(I'm taking advantage of YouTube's sudden change in allowing me to upload videos, to post this one as well as my Zoness one.)

I was talking recently with the owner of N64HS, and he brought up something that I never even thought twice about.

The tunnel in Venom One STOPS after a while! At first I thought "ok, this should be easy"... untill I died 7 times in a row.

It's nothing MINDBLOWING, but something I've overlooked in the game for several years.

I found a little section on the bottom left that had JUST enough space to safely manuver through the obstacles.

I just wanted to take a quick break from scoring, and show something that many SF64 players, may have never seen before.

...a HELL of an award at the end of that challenge.

I used to go here all the time and actually kill the thing on the n64, but now I have it on emulator and forgot how to get there.... how do you?

First time I made it to this boss, this almost happened to me. As soon as I saw the boss, he fell to the ground. I boosted forward just for the heck of it, and I saw the wall straight ahead. Right, AND I MEAN RIGHT before I hit it, the screen faded to white completely.

Wow... That is interesting... I never knew what would happen if you kept flying in the tunnel.. They give you a life then seal you inside for the most brutal death ever. I guess this is their way of saying they didn't have any end map warping..

I wonder if this happens in Starfox 64 3D.... Makes me want to try it... but I never last that long unless I destroy the boss lol. Interesting find (I'm aware this video is old XD)
