je trouve que ca se traine la bite pour un 1100, j'en ai 3 ... celui la vraiment des montée en régime faiblardes.

i have had a z1000 '03 and a zx-12r '02 ( its in aus and im in usa wanna buy it?) so im not a mechanic, im used to kwakkas that dont need much fiddling, but i can do a minor service, adjust chains etc looking for a fun fast bike that isnt impossible to do miles on as well, looking at trimph sprints and ZRX's and tuned Bamdits as well

im considering one, what are they like day in day out, commuting, fast canyon riding etc. love the engine, but needs to do it all to be my bike..

Its all relative... depends what you are used to. Takes some wrenching to keep these oldies running. Not bad bikes, but def not a modern fuel injected bike. I ride a 91 1100 as my daily... been riding, wrenching, racing and loven these for almost 20 years...

Its a 89 7/11. It has an old Yosh swingarm, 03 GSXR 750 forks, mikuni 38RS flatslides, Fox shck, SRS link, blah, blah, blah... built it from a bare frame. Its a track only bike. I raced a WERA Vintage race on it and got a 1st place!!
