This is my plea for a good doctor to possibly challenge this. I have seen many doctors and this is apparently a mystery. I have been researching nsf for a while, and the contrast that was given to me intravenously for MRIs, MRAs, and angiograms, I feel as though it made me neurologically worse. Please help if you can.

  • yeah. doctors could prevent MANY things if they tried a little harder. I don't mean that in a disrespectful way to anyone in the medical field, but it is possible to brush up on things and explore possibilities further than what's right in their face.

A note to the poster: You should try posting this on some medical forums. You should spread the word, so more people will hear about NSF/NFD.

I support you and wish you well!

    There is always hope.

  • thank you for your support. Do you know of any good sites?

  • I am not putting that in my system Gadolinium that is.

  • Harleyfanz guy i really feel for ya dude.i am supposed to have one of these MRI/contrasts tomorrow .I think you helped me make up my mind not to get that particular MRI.I hope by now youve gotten the help you need. And thank you for posting. I have enough probs w/o creating more!Good luck with your situation.

  • I feel bad for you because I too had four gadolinium injections and today am suffering a lot too. But I wonder.... are you in a highly fluoridated city as well? Fluoridation has been shown by many scientists (watch Dr. Mullenix's videos for one) to cause systemic damage. (This has been known for many years, although it was covered up). Combine this with gadolinium and people may have a real time bomb on their hands.

  • I too have had four gadolinium MRI's and have a lot of body pain. Worse yet, they won't give me anything to stop the pituitary tumour from growing more and more which it does every year. All they say is that I will have to go for MRI's forever, and since they now seem scared, it simply hasn't been monitored at all for five years. I think doctors are scared to do anything at all now except let those with tumours eventually grow blind.

  • This has nothing to do with NSF --- if you have questions, contact that MD at Yale who has the NSF website. I think this is neurological, not dematological. So he's diagnosed himself????

  • because doctors suck...
