up moves the note up - cool
down moves it down - cool
left moves it to the left - cool
right moves it to the right - WTF!?
so I draw in my bass drum pattern, but for some reason the notes are the color pink(making the bass softer hitting) than the red ones....anybody have any clue why this is?

@CuddleOscar yes, you need to adjust the velocity of the hits to make them louder. You should see beneath the piano roll a series of vertical lines that you can make higher or lower to make the notes softer or louder.

I got a Yamaha PSR and i wanna record the intern-sounds ("Voice") in this programm. But i "just" can play the instruments in ableton with my "MIDI"-Keyboard.
Is there a way to record MIDI without using the instruments of Ableton???
Estates2010 1 year ago
@Estates2010 you need to connect it using a MIDI cable and make sure that Ableton is transmitting to your keyboard and then make sure that you have your keyboard hooked back up to a soundcard to record the sound coming out.

When you have the loop brace selected you can also use ctrl/cmnd down to halve the it's length, and then up again to return back to normal. It's good for create drum rolls etc on the fly.
