I don't need some TV chef telling me what to eat, I need a TV chef telling me how to prepare complicated dishes.

his take on this is spot on. This is not the full clip. the full clip shows u what he means proper about the double standards of a man who flogs junk food on tv in adverts then goes on at kids for eating what they want. The snob part is explained in that too.

I really think jamie has a point. Junk food is not good for children or for anyone for that matter. We never had any of the food that kids have today back when I was young. So peoples get real!- kids are getting fatter - put your head in the sand if you want!

Brooker's a genius. Laughed my arse off watching his programme. Hoping it's out on DVD at some point. His book's brilliant for those of you who can read. :¬)

He's not saying kid's aren't getting fatter or they shouldn't be able to eat better. He's taking the piss out of both the methods he uses (such as the sloshing all the food together) and what the motivations are behind the campaign as the sloshing method seems to just a cheap strawman to keep the plebs on the side of never giving their child a packet of crisps again.
