  • @ladywhisperbear If you find Waltz have not soul check this video :

    youtube.com/watch?v=qac56u-eM0E

  • i also agree: your comments are hurtful and disgusting to people like us who work hard and are passionate about ballroom dancing. it may not be your style of dance but you should RESPECT others style of dancing.

and if you have considered to try dancing ballroom.. you would know there's a difference between foxtrot and waltz in terms of musicality and the character of the dance.. but main idea is to appear elegant while keeping a disciplined posture - or as you call it a bent swan neck??

  • i as a ballroom dancer find it very offensive and hurtful that people who are spectators to this sport continue to say its rubbish, no soul, nothing natural etc etc i and many other ballroom dancers do not degrade your chosen style of dance or what you are passionate about so why degrade ours? It may not be your cup of tea but there are people that dedicate their life to it and its a passion of theirs and that deserves respect none the less

  • @ZavulonPorter Well, when I saw this video I was among a group of people (5 or 6) which included girls, men and children!! They all found it bizarre and ugly!! Here they are "dancing foxtrot", but I watched another vid where they were "dancing waltz and cha cha cah" and guess what?? They were doing EXACTLY the same thing and the women were with that EXACT strange posture with that bent neck!! So they ignore everything from the original dance styles! That's not Foxtrot, that's my point!!

  • @PedroLMariano3

Well that's your opinion. I watched some vids and the dancing is awesome! But so is European Ballroom. That was my point from the beginning. Every dance in the world is coordinated and follows certain rules of music, movement and rhythm. Saying that they look like "uncordinated swans moving without rhythm" just again shows how single minded you are, and especially as a teacher of dance you should know better man.

  • @ZavulonPorter LOL no need to get all nervous and angry, sunshine!! I teach Salsa here in Brasília (the capital of Brazil) and I also dance a little Samba de Gafieira and Forró!! If you want to see what real dance look like type any of those here in YouTube and watch a few vids!! I've been dancing for more than 5 years and I know that these white europeans here took everything that really matters at dance and look like uncordinated swans moving without rythm!!

  • @PedroLMariano3

No dude, I am sorry, but you are a fucktard and understand nothing about dancing. Every dance in the world no matter how retarded it may seem is a piece of culture and means in every case a lot to the people performing these dances. So don't go around complaining about how ugly ballroom dancing looks just because you haven't tried it yet.

  • This is RIDICULOUS!!! They manage to fuck up every single dance style with that conservative posture!! How can somebody find a woman dancing with a neck bent like a swan beautiful?? Sorry but that's not dance, that is not beautiful and that does not look like a fun thing to do!! AWFUL!!!!

  • The correct name of the original song is "Luna tu" sung by Alejandro Safrino, but the only one slow-foxtrot that I've ever heard is on the CD Ballroom Fantasy...

  • ah you wil find this exact song on the cd - Ballroom Fantasy
