I got a new toy called the Harmony G-XT. I produces harmony based on the chords the guitar is playing. I used the Boss looper along with the voice processor. I also used a Boss Super Octave pedal to add the bass part live while laying down the loop.

It has been snowy and icy lately. I'm ready for some sunshine.

  • im starting up a three piece rock / indie band with a drummer , lead guitarist and a rythm guitar and was wandering do you think it would be a good idea to use an octave pedal for the rythm guitar to beef up the sound thanks for any thoughts

  • @chrissycroken

If you use a Harmony G with the rhythm guitar it will fatten up the vocals. You can also use a little delay and chorus on the rhythm guitar to fatten up the guitar sound.

  • @chrissycroken you would be well advised to add a bass guitar

This is a live performance. I add a bass part during the second verse using a Boss Octave pedal.
