@nqd20437 Yes that video didnt do him any justice. They should have showed his demonic side and his angelic side of his technique and sound. Horowitz was definitely the liszt of the 20 century.

I doubt the sense of the person who edited the video for the award. Watching the video, the audience must have judged Horowitz was just a stupid old man. Instead of using the scene from 60 minutes, they should have used one from Horowitz on TV 1968.

I read that Horowitz improvised his short speech, after forgetting the speech that Thomas Frost wrote for him. I wonder if the audience knew how truly extraordinary he was. Thanks for uploading.
