Scud Race is an awesome and gorgeous arcade racing game running on Sega Model 3 Hardware step 1.5

The "FIRST" racing game running on amazing SEGA MODEL 3 Hardware.

CPU: IBM "PowerPC 603" 32-bit RISC @ 100MHz
GFX : 2 x Lockheed Martin "Real3D/PRO-1000"
Sound CPU: Motorola "68EC000" @ 11,3MHz
Sound chips: 2xYamaha "SCSP" PCM chips 4 channel output
Additional sound board: Sega "DSB1" consists in Zilog "Z80" @ 8MHz CPU + NEC "uD65654GF102" sound chip

Capture with fraps using Mame 0.119 with no sound (unfortunately after 0.120 MAME versions the
Model 3 emulation is broken!)

CPU is Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 overclocked @ 4 GHz + 4 GB GDDR2 RAM + nVidia GeForce 8800GTX

Gameplay with McLaren F1 on "Expert" track, with first and part of second lap (during the end of second lap Mame crashes!).

why the HELL didn't they release this on the Dreamcast?!

The dreamcast version didnt came out because the rights to make an in-game some of those sponsored cars expired.

im waiting for some mame emulation -discret. not like now- i guess i´ll wait two or three years more.

dc never release coz dc was too slow lack of vram and poor geometry chip compare to doubled model 3 board in scud race, seen demo scud race on dc looks awful 1/2 effects and lest tahan 30fps

Daytona USA 2 MIGHT have a chance at a port now that Sega managed to get the license back but I think this game may be lost to the ages, which is a dang shame.
