SUVARNA NEWS - KILLER ELEPHANTS TIED DOWN

Terror of Elephants in Mysore has been in control... 4 elephants had entered Mysore city and killed 2 persons and 2 cows with an unusual aggressive behaviour... Tranquilizers were used against these killer elephants... Officials successfully caught one elephant... They are trying to catch other killer elephants... Elephants, that belong to Mysore palace, particularly Abhimanyu, are used in this operation... were also used to control these wild animals... Karnataka Chief Minister announced the compensation for the loss in this elephants attack... He also promised to put a trench across the line that divides Forest and City... Meanwhile, Wildlife specialist Praveen Bhargav gave some useful inputs of elephants behaviour. Elephants rarely displays aggressive behaviour... They are Gentle Gaints, always calm and cool.... But, on a few occasions they become aggressive. The loss of elephant bases can be one of the reasons for these animals to enter city areas, opined Praveen Bhargav....
