First a short squash match with Pez vs Bobby Jones. After that is a interview about his title match vs Eric Embry. Miss Texas comes out to confront him.

  • Timmy-

I don't think this is a "return" to USWA for Pez Watley, I think this was his first time on Memphis wrestling (maybe his only time). I think he was on the world class roster, and was in Memphis with the other Texas tallent. Dave's mention of the fans "knowing" Pez, probably came from the fact that most Memphis fans Watched Georgia Championship on WTBS as well, during this era. Pez was there for many years.

  • @lawlersarmy He was in ICW in the mid 80's.

  • my uncle right here...yes he's a legend rob an

  • @ligreekguy you never saw pez in georgia in the early 80's going against buzz sawyer and the road warriors. look it up. he was a georgia, east tennessee superstar. who cares about the wwf curcuit.

  • RIP Pez

  • Wait...he's a legend?

  • Did Pez say that Eric Embry was running "rough shop" around the USWA?

  • If Cory Macklin wrestled then he'd be Pez Whatley.

  • Are they kidding? This guy used to be squashed like a peanut every other weekend on the WWF circuit. Obviously, they got this Bobby Jones from some back yard wrestling match to make Pez look like a winner. The fight between the two women was actually more competitive!

  • Pez did wrestle in Memphis before this time. He was in Memphis during the late 70s for a few months.
