@BrotherTree1 Thank god this didn't happen. Youzhny is one player I can't stand watching along with Murray, Monfils, and Simon.

@necrosaint1 Well on paper, yes, Verdasco was the first test, but ironically his two toughest matches before the final were Gabashvili and Istomin! In the first two rounds!

Two matches, two rematches. Fed/Djokovic, and this one. But I think this one will be a total one sided affair this time, Nadal will probably defeat him like 6-4 7-6 6-4. Verdasco was the first real major test for Nadal in this entire tournament. Youzhny I guess will be a close second one. Against Verdasco, Nadal had phenomenal speed on this hard court, frustrating verdasco with his defense. His serve is a lot better than it was 1-2 years ago. Everything else as well, including the forehand.

Oh man, what a depressing match for a Nadal fan...I remember this one so well because I was there in the stands....AND it was the day before i went back to college...what a depressing end to summer to see Rafa lose like that in person lol

Youzhny playing some of the best tennis in his life here. I got a feeling Nadal is going to do really well in this years US Open.
