the daily walk....
who are you now
yesterday i said i'd follow you
on you're gleaming way the life the truth
why, there was nothing i would not do for you
after that moment then i awoke
forgot about those things that we had spoke of
did i go off on my own
i wanted beautiful i wanted open sky
let freedom ring
i wanted eyes on me
wanted to be the dream
i am said i
the next step i took seemed far away
along a rich and textured lane
i saw colors so bright and full of life
but mixed within those mesmerizing hues
there lurked a dark and hidden view
set me runnin', but to who
i wanted beautiful i wanted open sky
let freedom ring
i wanted eyes on me
wanted to be the dream
i am said i
returning to familiar comfort's tug
i layed down captured in the trap i sprung
a long long sleep dreaming in black and white
then long forgotten music began to play
that Voice of Many Waters loving claim
awakened hope through the pain
i wanted beautiful i wanted open sky
let freedom ring
i wanted eyes on me
wanted to be the dream
i am said i
today my life that was so tightly tied
to keep survival my only guide
now catches breath in Our Father's rest
"So who are You now, MyFriendMyLove
are You not wrapped in the bundle of
TheLivingOne?"
Oh Lord...
You are the Beautiful
You give Your open sky
let Freedom ring
with Your loving eyes on me
You the RevealingDream
I am say You in You
You are say You in Me
ALLTOGETHERWE
yesterday I said I follow You....

Intangible *and* tangible qualities keep me coming back to this over and over.
Stunning work.

@curiousgeorge555 This song took some time to "finish", but then, it keeps going on and on. People talk of testimonies, well, this is the on going testimony of what it is to follow Christ "after conversion" for me. The continuing journey...where weaving every morning new is quite literal, and what others tell you to expect(not to mention what THEY expect) doesn't quite live up to expectations...thankfully. I'm coming to see that following Jesus is quite an adventure after all...Thanks Jack :)

@reliablebow "there was nothing i would not do for you after that moment then i awoke forgot about those things that we had spoke of did i go off on my own" This line speaks volumes. It seems so strange (to me) that this is possible. We get a glimpse, beyond unspeakable beautiful, of The Eternal One. Than before a matter of moments or hours or yesterdays we are looking in other places... "i" becomes "I" *or* it becomes IT *or* the place to find light appears to be in a gutter...

@curiousgeorge555 Most days, Romans 7 is my favorite scripture, for I know it well, personally, and share with Paul his cry...'Who will save me from this body of death!?"...ahhh, but then, the Answer:) Selah...
