@mgblue I think the cameraman had sarandon confused with ronee blakely b/c they look alike. If you read sarandon's lips, you see she deduced the same thing.

Lee is so ugly and weird looking...i've never liked her as a woman..she looks like a drag queen.
BUT!!!!!.....
i do like her as an actress..she was brilliant in Valley Of The Dolls.

Lee was good, but she was blown away by both Lily and Ronee that year.

She deserved this Oscar.......she is a very brilliant actress.

@JOJO22858 Madeline Kahn was of course brilliant in Paper Moon, but to be fair, Tatum was too. If a 9 yr. old little girl's ability to carry a film is not Oscar worthy, I don't know what is. Despite Tatum's addiction problems (and how could she NOT having Ryan O'Neal as a father), she remains a brilliant actress today.

Lily Tomlin deserved this Oscar ALL THE WAY!! SO nice to see the late, great
Madeline Kahn in this clip. She also deserved to win an Oscar for PAPER MOON,
not Tatum.
