See if you can find the manual for machine. If you don't have it you can usually find either an electronic version online or you can buy one from the manufacturer to help clear up anything you can't figure out. Good luck!

I always have trouble with bobbin tension, I've learned on older machines and each have had this problem. I'm getting a new machine soon, and I'm hoping inherently (just by being me and my previous history. lol) not to break it, is there something I should be doing to check my bobbin tension??

I've never learned to check something like that, and I know how to thread a machine properly. I'm stuck though, what could be the reasons for the bobbin to go crazy?

Are you sure it's bobbin tension? I've only ever had to adjust bobbin tension on an industrial machine. Most new machines have solid bobbins that don't have a tension screw on them. If you are getting ugly stitches on the back of your fabric the problem is the top thread not the bobbin. If the stitches on top are messed up then it's the bobbin. Good luck!

Hi, I've been having trouble threading the bobbin on my sewing machine. Every time I try the thread comes out lumpy & uneven. I didn't know much about sewing machines. What do you think could be causing this?
