Sewing Lessons: Getting Started

It also covers what basic sewing supplies are needed, how to wind a bobbin, how to correctly place the bobbin in the sewing machine, how to thread a sewing machine, how to bring the bobbin thread up before sewing, and how to sew straight stitches and zig-zag stitches. enjoy!

One tip! From experience I know not to use a blue invisible ink marker! It doesn't come out!!!

i recently purchased a brothers sewin nd embroidery machine and have ABSOLUTELY no idea what im doin lol. I tried to embroider bcuz i thought that would be easier than learnin to sew and ended up not only breakin the point on the needle but stitchin the garment together lol. which was a pair of baby panties i tried to embroid. I want to kno if u kno how to add sequin to clothes or make a sequin blazer jacket for kids ive been lookin for 1 and cant find anyyy for my 5 yr old.

@ChelsLyr Congrats on the new fancy machine. It will take some getting used to. Read your manual and practice using all the features on scrap fabric. I don't have any tutorials on adding sequins to clothes. Sorry!
