NEON ROSE - Dead Eyes

Neon Rose.
Swedish /Stockholm-högdalen Hard-Rock band from mid 70s, Who was the only band on the Vertigo-label in scandinavia ever. Played as special guests to Nazareth in 74-75 and did succes, so when Nazareth enter the stage the big crowds was screaming for Neon Rose at many times. The guitarist Gunnar Hallin was asked to start playing with Nazareth but he stayed in Stockholm and started play with Magnus Uggla. They recorded 3 albums(73-75)and the most heavy, proggressiv with fat guitar-riffs and amazing Vocals is the "Reload" album from -75 that dosn´t have a weak track. This album is so good so i have not heard somthing like it as a guitarist and "freky hard rock album collector" and it was produced by Leif Mases who prod. Led Zeppelin and a lot of Black Sabbath album and many more big names in the hard-rock world. the group contained from the begining with Roger Holegård Vocals/Guitar, Stanley Larsson Drums, Piero and Benno Mengarelli on guitar and bass. They recorded the first album "the dream of glory and pride" together. On the second album "Neon Rose-II" Gunnar Hallin joined, Roger started only too sing, and that was much better. On the Reload album was Thomas Wiklund on the Drums and he was the complement that was needed. tighter and fatter! To you Hard rock collector of Nordic-rock and progg dont go beside this group, Listning and see this intro track to the "Reload" album. who gets better and better! Trust me.
