(Big one is in background) Firing of small trebuchet during visit to open-air Medieval Center at Lolland-Falster in Denmark. My memory card filled up just as they fired off the big one in the background, where we could hear the stone whistle as it went far out into the sound; will have to go back again. Zoom in on the map location to see both machines from the air.

  • what are the "wheels" on the other one for?

  • @Tokemon0 well considering both are small according to Medieval Standards ^^

  • small?

  • @Tokemon0 yes this is a small trebuchet. A full sized one can take up to 20-30 trees worth of wood to build, and can weigh as much as 50 tons. They're also like 20 feet taller than this (estimating of course). I've seen videos of full sized trebuchets picking up cars and throwing them more than a football feild.

  • small?!?!?!

  • that thing couldn't throw a golfball 10 ft

  • Haha our 3x5 trebuchet threw 200+ feet... It would beat that thing!

  • mamamamang???

  • Wait... you did say firing a 'SMALL' Trebuchet' If that's small... WOW
