The voice of God is very fitting, but that title belongs to John Facenda. I met Harry in the parking lot of Cooperstown, when Richie Ashburn and Mike Schmidt were being inducted. He looked like he had a little too much to drink, but he was very gracious. He autographed my program. I predicted to him that one day he would be inducted into these hallowed halls. He thanked me. I stil have that program
Holy Cow, John Kosich, formerly of WNEP-TV 16 in Scranton, PA...awesome to see John doing well in Cleveland! Nice job, John, and I think calling Harry "The voice of God" was pretty appropriate because to us, he really WAS! Nice report, hope you keep doing a great job in Cleveland like you did in Scranton!

I remember hearing that Harry had collapsed- my first thought was "he's strong. He'll make it." unfortunately, I was wrong. RIP Harry

Wow, it's nice to know that not only Philly is mourning this great voice.
