Cheap Home Recording Studio using Acid Pro 5

Just demonstrating some basic recording using drum loops, guitar, bass, and midi keyboards. Software - ACID Pro 5, Guitar Rig 3, Amplitube SVX. Hardware - EMU 0404 soundcard ($79), 2 ghz Dell Optiplex ($100), Presonus tubepre (optional), Line6 Guitar Pod (optional), mixer ($65), power amp ($80), speakers ($200), midi keyboard ($free).

The total price to get everything going including computer and PA (excluding my instruments) was under 500 dollars.

cool video. i think acid pro is wonderful and easy to use. might want to experiment with recording guitars and bass in mono. it has cleaned up my sound in acid pro. thanks.

acid pro 7.0 screws up my recording by speeding up my samples from my mpc. it's time to up grade

When you use ACID PRO, does it need an interface with an phone output for you to be able to hear what you do with it. Or you could just use the speakers of the computer???

where did you learn guitar? did you take a class, or did you just have a ton of practice?

I use Pro9 but only for mastering now, or if i have to use autotune, real nice sound tho
