religion has done nothing for humanity, except pain.we are at war cuz bush spoke to god.we have governors praying for rain,we have pimps on tv raping the poor in the name of god,or jesus.how about we stop this maddness and feed the hungry, and help the poor.dont give money if you think you are going to get blessed.give a man bread and he will eat,let him pray for bread and he will starve.

This is exactly what Hitler said when he started the Nazis and took over Germany

Save Humanity, Save Our Souls, Save Morality, Save the true Teachings of GOD and Save Our Lives. Let us not be deceived by media and other messages that promotes and planting wrong beliefs to the civilization. We know that everyone deserves to be happy but not all hapiness are given by our GOD. Peace.

@KevinJRape Yeah, sure dude, I'll read the bible to prove human morality's relationship to the weather. If it was part of God's plan for Adam to sin, and God punished Adam for sinning, why are we worshiping a malevolent deity? If it was part of God's plan, how did God not "want" it to happen?
I don't believe for a second that God would be self-conflicting in a rational, mathematical universe. A "revelation" can be misinterpreted or even fabricated, what gives anything in the bible legitimacy?

@foolery15 If you read what I wrote, "...from a Christian standpoint, is blatant." Then you would know that these groups are getting married in churches that believe in God. I'm not saying they all do. Homosexuality was a part of God's plan as it was for Adam to sin. It is fact he did, but God didn't "want" it to happen. By discerning the heart of God, you'll realize that. As far as human behavior effecting weather, read Haggai 1:7-11. Yes, behavior and relationship with God effect even weather.

@foolery15 Many Christians today blame Gays, Lesbians, etc. for tornados, earthquakes, tsunamis, etc. The "Christian Banner" exclaims that it hates them all. I'm not a fan of the Christian Banner, because it should be pointing at Christians instead. How are we to reach the world, when we (as Christians) aren't even practicing what we're preaching? 1st & 2nd Chronicles display the rise and fall of Holy Land based on the decisions of leaders that followed God. When we cry out to God... He answers.
-
@KevinJRape I only understood about half of what you just said. Could you explain what the statement from "The hated groups..." to "...evident in 1st-2nd Chronicles" means?
-
@foolery15 Gays and Lesbians that intend on marrying are participating in a ceremony that belongs to a religion that doesn't allow for it. The obviousness of the hypocrisy, from a Christian standpoint, is blatant. The hated groups by the "Christian Banner" never affected Christian's relationships with God. It was only the people of God that affected the blessings and curses upon them. This is evident in 1st-2nd Chronicles. More people would be interested in Him if we practiced what we preached.

Mike Huckabee did an excellent job by boldly stepping out in faith and seeking to bring righteous behavior back in the lives of america. This is from a Christian standpoint, of course. I applaud his efforts to call preachers to wake up from their spiritual coma and start practicing what they're preaching instead of giving lip-service to God. "These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me..." NIV Isaiah 29:13
I am born free in this Country, I have the right to pursue my happiness without having others monger at me with their hate.

@KevinJRape If you follow Leviticus at the expense of following Jesus, you are not Christian.
Marriage, as sponsored by the US government, is secular, because the US government is secular. Marriage is not exclusively the province of Christianity.
The idea that human morality affects the weather is ridiculous.
Homosexuality exists, therefore it is part of God's plan. I trust reality as it is more than the OT as it was written by a bunch of fundamentalist Jews in 500 BC.
