I disagree. I think Roger in his prime is better than Agassi in his prime, and if Agassi could beat Pete, Federer could, too. And as well as Sampras hits his running forehand, Federer does it at least as well, and can put it down the line more consistently than Sampras.

i dun get this, i thought less bouncy surfaces were suppose to make games quicker because it was more difficult to retrieve the balls? isnt that why its so hard to serve and volley in roland garros? and now you're saying the game has slowed down because the smash did not bounce as high?

They clearly slowed down the game, Sampras smash didn't bounce so high anymore. Normally his slam dunks were uncontested.

I like Murray, but I really don't see any weapons. Not sure if he will win a major. He has gotten really big from his days as a skinny kid.

Murray has far more potential than Mecir. Same guile and capacity to mix up play, but also stronger, bigger hitting and with a superior serve.
Tennis is evolving just fine. The Rafa/Federer Wimbledon final last year was far superior to any Sampras/Ivanisevic serve fest.
