Another point worth considering; this video gives the impression that the western

order of druids represent the aspirations and beliefs of all British Druids.

I know from direct experience that this is not the case..I wonder, in view of recent development as to the legal status of Druids whether or not the W.O.D are

still saying 'Not a religion as such'.....

@niallobinghe .. Hi Niall, I'm glad my video is stimulating a discussion. Ronan Gallagher was invited to document the day, and as I edit his films we both went to do the filming so have good coverage of the event. It was while filming that some of these issues you are talking about became apparent. As such our normal follow-up interviews were curtailed as it would have changed the nature of the film into an exposé rather than as intended, a record of the event.

@niallobinghe, I think a video expressing the different stand points of the various interests could be useful in reconciling the different factions. It would certainly need to draw out the current situation without expressing any partiality so a real debate could happen.

of ethical practice; we need to rid the movement of the likes of Michael mcgrath and

rollo maughlin, otherwise we are wasting precious time

The problem here is that this 'Druidess' came all the way from America under the

assumption that Michael Mcgrath had the authority and backing of the people of

Ireland. As an Irish druid with over 30 years service i can assure you this was not

the case. he was accompanied by rollo Maughlin, who is as big a charlatan as

mcgrath. These people only make a mockery of our heritage

and should not be tolerated.

Believe me, not all Irish druids recognise the 'Authority' of these

sad, gibbering baby boomers..Their days are numbered...
