  • I have a DX long bed. I've been meaning to get a Ford when the T100 breaks down. Problem is, it just won't die.

  • looks just like my T100!accept mine is only a DX and not an SR5 :(

  • i got 1997 and its a beast

  • 96 extra cab 4x4 base... have 320,000 miles on it and it still runs like a champ!!! nothing major has been replaced :D TOYOTA FTW!!!

  • time to wetsand and polish your headlights.

  • I have a 96 v-6 sr5 two wheel drive its the best truck ive ever owned. It has 212,987 miles on it and it runs as good as the day i bought it..

  • toyota rules men!!!!! ihave a toyota t100 1997 SR5 4WD it´s a exelent truck

  • One more thing...

T's of that vintage are great trucks. They were produced in Japan (I only drive Toyota 4x4's that are MADE IN JAPAN) so you don't get the less quality, made-in-USA ones, and they were before Toyota learned the USA way of over complicating things. That truck shares A LOT of drive train with the 89-95 22RE powered "Mini" NOT "Tacoma" trucks that sealed the reliability deal with Toyota trucks....

Ever since then it's all been down hill for Toyota trucks.

  • IF, it has oversize tires, that's effecting the accuracy of your speedo.

And the ODO works directly off the speedo.

Can't tell if they are oversize or not, if they are, it'll make your MPG more than it really is.

To find out, just look inside the door jam and find the Toyota sticker. It will have the tire size it came from the factory with. Then find out the outer diameter and compare it with your current tires outer diameter.

  • sweet truck man, i want one just like that. Just one thing, black rims
