  • I'm reminded of that movie "The Exorcist" where the Priest Dimi is tormented by his mother "Oh Dimi, how could you do this to me!" It made me realize, that most adults allow this to happen for that reason-Guilt. It's child abuse plain and simple. And how do we solve it? Simply by abusing back. It's Ping pong. They slap it to you, then you slap it back. Dimis mother don't want to get off her fucking ass. Well then you point that out. Giving birth does not = carte blanch for eternal abuse.

  • My god, this has got to be the greatest psych analysis I ever heard. A shock went through my spine listening to this. This is not even for kids, but for adults as well. Adults are tormented for decades by parents using this guilt and shame shit, "Oh we worry about you" or "How can you make us go through this"....I use to live next door to a SIXTY year old whose mother would still regularly torment him with this shit,

  • @MzFlutePlayer Well, congratulations for being anomalous. It also depends on the situation, you know. Are you saying that you don't have a conscience at all? Oh, and before you go on to try pulling a 'you have no fucking idea what it's like to be a teen' on me, I am one.

And Wittman's not just basing this on himself (which is what you're doing, just to point out), he's saying this as a psychologist. So, just as a little conclusion, your reasoning is pretty crap.

  • @MzFlutePlayer yeah but different teens react differently you have to remember that and I found everything he was saying was true.

  • U don't know SHIT about Teens I am a teen and feel no bit of remorse or guilt u have no FUCKING IDEA what it's like to be a teen and what I want my parents to say bcs ur too fucking old to remember!!!

  • If you would like to read more of Jason Wittman's advice, they are available on his TheParentsCoach website.

  • Well said Thankyou.
