  • Dear Steve. I appreciate your Videos. I suggest you may also include Grammar Lessons as well as Vowel Sounds and Pronunciation.

  • @ronald14344 Thanks for the comment! Learning English TV Lessons 1 - 8 all have a lot of grammar and so do: Steve in Paris, Steve in Brazil and The Funny Honeymoon. I also suggest you check out my Peppy Pronunciation videos 1-5. If you are looking for academic grammar, I suggest you try my Test Prep. videos, especially test Prep 11 and 13.

  • "asian students are MASTERS of grammar" OMG!:) LOL!! In my opinion, that's extremely true for Japanese and Korean English learners honestly. Well, I'm from Hong Kong and I have no idea how the English education is like in China. However, I guess probably it's due to being a former British colony :/ we do care about our ACCENT REDUCTION , fluency and Vcoab expansion HEAPS more. A lot of us have been trying to get rid of our own accents. Well, is it necessary? I kind of dont think so .ah! :L

  • @manwah417 I have a business student from mainland China who lives in California and we work mostly on phrasal verbs and vocab. expansion. From time to time we work on extremely difficult grammar topics. When I was a teacher in Toronto, I used to have the following mix of students: mainland Chinese, Chinese from Hong Kong, Taiwanese, Korean and Japanese. Each group is unique as you say and I am sure we could break that down. BTW, accent reduction is a huge concern for my advanced students.

  • @PrivateEnglishPortal yeah you are right. Thank you so much for your reply!

It actually means a lot to me :) Well, I just came up with an idea.

Would you mind skype-ing us and probably just saying hello & greeting each other for a few mins each? :D (hopefully) but well I know you are always busy and there are a great number of us who have always wanted to really talk to you and thank you in person. Anyway, I do enjoy watching your vids :) It helps me heaps! xoxo

  • @manwah417 I thank you once again for your comments! I wish I had more time to talk to each and every one of you on Skype. Right now I am working on Peppy 24 so stay tuned for another fun and informative English lesson!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm glad I'm helping you "heaps"! You made my day!

    Take care!

    Steve
