Stunt action against crisis and no-answer by G20

DO WE WANNA PAY FOR THEIR CRISIS ?
Even before the banking collapse the world suffered poverty, inequality and the threat of climate chaos. Many governments have followed a financial model that has created an economy fuelled by ever-increasing debt, both financial and environmental.

The governments of the G-20* are meeting this weekend to decide how they want to shape the future of the global economy - a meeting led by the same governments who designed the system which has now dramatically failed. The bankers of the world have been allowed to gamble with the future. Along the way, small numbers of people became incredibly rich on the backs of others. Now the foundations of their system have collapsed, and their friends in the government want to bail them out. Why should the public pay to save a financial system that is at the root of the current cataclysm?

Do we wanna pay for their crisis? No we dont! It is time for radical change. There can be no going back to business as usual. For a new economic and social model, lets put finance in its place! The world not only needs regulations, but also a new paradigm which puts the financial system at the service of human rights, decent work, food sovereignty, respect for the environment, cultural diversity, a social and solidarity economy and a new concept of wealth. Id est: dismantle tax havens, cancel debt, share wealth, eradicate speculation, public control of banks, G192 instead of G20 !
