It's hard to see how deep it was set, but this set looks like it was CCS width but without the credit card. Doing so with an Elite, something that right now I have to set to an MMS just to close at all, is super impressive.

That's a set, it can give your hand a little more of an advantageous position with better leverage. But I find it best to train with different sets in mind. I like to train no set with weak grippers for reps, a shallow set (equal to a credit card set without actually inserting the credit card each time), and also a parallel set.

The pro is noticably harder than the #4, but I have seen some videos of closing the Pro with a very deep set or getting it down to 1mm.

i dont think anyones even close to the pro right now.. its harder than a #4...

As far as I'm concerned, anything above the World Class is a fancy paperweight. I think the heaviest that someone's even making legitimate inroads towards closing is the Pro right now.
