BF3 attackheli action part 1

Helicopter action, slightly edited to show the snipes from afar and also the close encounters without having to see me being shot down too much :D Yes, helis are squishy and with random gunners u can't count on them taking out the infantry with stingers in time to live more than. So the getaway is a lot of low-flying with a lot of beeping.

The spec I use varies a little. The most op is the guided missiles to be able to snipe from across the map.

So, with random gunners I use guided missiles, flare and heatseekers. Some of the footage is with fireextinguisher instead of flare, since me and the gunner at that time was testing with him flaring and me putting out the fire (he didn't have extinguisher unlocked).

Flares vs Ecm jamming; in my experience, flares are better, unless u get a gunner that can do the flaring for the locks u can't jam due to cd.

Decided not to add any music, since Germany tends to be blocked to view the movie then. If you do want to have some music playing in the background, I suggest looping Wagner - The Valkyrie in the background.

any tips ecm vs flare on the heli? the ecm confuses me on how it works exactly.

@MMGRC28 the ecm is used to prevent the enemy from locking on to u. Best time to use it is just before they get lock on you. Then u get 6 seconds to get away or kill them

very nice. I'm not good on choppers but kick ass with jets

and it's usually other way around. jets shoot choppers down. anyway really nice flying. I was surprised enemy AA didn't shoot you much.

@arman1372 I try to pick them off from a distance before going in. When I got gunner on voice we can time our flares, so it's not neccesary to stay away that much. Still, don't want to come close to them since they can flip over chopper like jets do

in 1 match in an attack heli i got 28-3 aswell as an air warefare medal and an attack helicopter service star and 14 ribbons (including 4 air wareware ribbons, 3 combat efficency ribbons aswell as ace squad and nemisis ribbon)
