Okay, why would you need a case to protect your iPhone from throwing it? How about NOT throwing it, that would be the best protection. Here's how to protect your iPhone from scratches, DONT put the iPhone in the pocket that has the keys in it. I guess the people that need theses tips are the same people that forget to remove the sun protector from the windshield when the drive.

thats not true about the hard case... i dropped my ipod touch (in hard case) out a 1 storie window onto the pavement below and it was sheilded fine, the case was cracked ( violent thro) and the ipod was undamaged. the science behind this is that certain card cases slid onto your iopd in such a manner that they will reduce the impact substancally (my case says it takes 90% of impact). whreas a rubber case is just rubber. they fall off allot and really dont do much; but i must say they look cooler
