i loved the burn like a rocket, i just didn't realize he sang so many good tunes i enjoy listening to. sorry but i will when i get out and find his music. thanks for the memory.

@wtfscrapie72 That's because he's really humble and doesn't see himself as a rock star or a celebrity. It's funny, the casino where I saw him play recently, Billy Joe Royal was forced to do a meet and greet about 10 minutes after the concert. They sat him at a table where people could buy merchandise and have him sign albums or photos.

@wtfscrapie72 Quite a few years ago My son and I done the light show for him. He was just as friendly as can be, Signed a couple pictures and treated us with respect. Keep in mind he is only human and can have a bad day too.
