The best organists in the world have, for generations, played at this famous organ loft. Elsewhere on YouTube, Jos van der Kooy makes it quite clear about the standard of excellence anyone wishing to play it must have attained before permission can be granted. Congratulations James, for meeting that standard. The authorities of Notre Dame, Paris, think they have the most famous organ loft in the world. Let them think so. For me, it is right there in Haarlem. Greetings from New Zealand.

Hi James, My heart is beating when I listen to this organ while you play this wonderfull piece. I used to have organlessons on this organ (about 10-15 years ago). But still, when I hear this organ, it moves me completely. Thanks for posting. By the way, do you often play this organ, or was it just an occasion? I appriciate a response!

now there needs to be an organist trio for this organ. One to play. One to work the stops (unless you have 6 foot arms) and one to pump.
