Dear Diary,

i've been in love with my best friend since i can remember...the day that i met him was probably the best day of my life...but i don't think that he will ever know...and im getting tired of waiting...because waiting for him is like waiting for rain in the desert....useless and disappointing...

[ she looks at it again, sighs, closes it]

Nick:[comes up behind her and tickles her]

Selena:AHHH!!!!!!

Nick:did i scare you???

Selena:a little[putting her diary into her locker]

Nick:guess what??

Selena:what??

Nick;I met this girl...and i am gonna ask her out...

Selena:[hoping it's her]who is it???

Nick: well she is in our grade, about 5' 5", she has beautiful brown hair....

Selena:[thinking:sounds kinda like me...]

Nick;and her name is Miley..

Selena:[feels her heart break but tries not to show it]th-that's great [tear drops down her face]

Nick:[wipes it]why are you crying???

Selena:tears of joy...for you

Nick:thanks you are a great friend[walks up to Miley]

Selena:yeah..friend..[watching Nick and Miley flirt]

with Nick and Miley

Nick:hey Miley[smiles]

Miley:[flirty smile]hey...

Nick:so i was wondering..

Miley:yeah??

Nick:maybe we can go out sometime??

Miley:like a date??

Nick:yeah...

Miley:[kisses him]sure [walks away]

with Selena

Selena:[takes off her friendship ring, throws it on the ground and starts walking to her next class, crying]

[flashback]

nick and selena were 8

Nick:Selena promise me we will always be friends

Selena:yeah...sure..

Nick:[takes out a friendship ring]this is for you....

Selena:Nick i love it!!![puts it on]thank you!!!!!

[end of flashback]

with Nick

Nick:[happy dances and then sees something shining in the sunlight, stops dancing, picks it up, sees it's Selena's friendship ring, and walks off to his next class angry]SELENA!!!!!!

Selena:[wiping her tears]what??

Nick:where's your friendship ring???

Selena:uh...at home??

Nick:[slams it on her desk]i found it...

Selena:how do you know it's mine???? it's a plain ring!!!!!!!

Nick:I GOT IT FOR YOU!!!!!! I THINK THAT I WOULD KNOW WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!!!!!!!!

Selena;whatever!!![ingores him angrily]

Nick;then i guess if this doesn't mean anything to you...then neither does our friendship!!!!!!!!!!!

Selena:[starts crying]

after class

Selena;[walks out of class quickly]Stupid Nick!!! Stupid friendship ring!!!!!![Sees Miley and Cody kissing]Omg!!!!!!! what im i gonna tell Nick???
