  • instead of drawing the shape of the fletching onto the tape why not make a stencil that way they will all be the same length and width

  • Have you tried placing nock horn perpendicular to the self nock to strengthen the nock?

  • If you gona use a sharp and pointed scissor .. . be sure to have supervision of a adult....

  • The arrows did a lot of damage. The knights and swordsman ( with money ) wore silk shirts. This went into the would with the arrow so that, unlike a fishing hook, the barbs would not catch on flesh and make it hard to pull out. Granted, there was damage, but the silk shirt made the wound less significant? Am I correct on this? Any other benifits to using a silk shirt? How about some natural anteseptics on the shirt, truth or fiction?

  • @mike20295 The English longbow is originally adapted from Welsh longbow. The English army of Edward I encountered Welsh longbow archers when they invaded Wales. They were impressed by the Welsh archers that they were incorporated into the English army. The longbow was the best bow ever created in Western Europe.

  • English long bow????? you mean welsh long bow.the first record of the WELSH using the longbow was in 800 AD. The english was so impressed by the damage the welsh bow men did on their own soldiers that the english used welsh and the longbow to great affect in the hundred years war. so yes the english made the longbow famous by using 1000's of men to shoot together. ......cymru am byth tell tin phob sais bydur rock on
