Why do all the boxes do the same thing? Why don't different boxes respond to different desires?

They do and they don't. Think of it this way. The box is a door. Doors open. How they open depends on whose opening it but the function is the same. So outwardly they seem to do the same thing but if you read the history on them found at the Pyramid Gallery you'll find there's more than just what's on the surface and that's what people are interesting in.

i fail to see the purpose of this one, what's the reasoning behind a box that opens of its own accord? half the 'fun' of the puzzle boxes is to solve them, as you get into more and more the song changes and grows until you've finnished and you get pulled into hell without even realizing your actions.

it is neat tho, could you try and make a box for love? this one seems crazy and happy, id like to see one that is romance and sad.

I am currently reanimating all that has come before.

Think on this, what you've seen has been my homework as I learn animation and programs of a 3d nature as a novice. This was only my beginning work. Now I have graduated to a "experienced" and will tackle more complicated story telling and animation. Stay tuned.

I'm thinking of making my own Hellraiser box, but since I don't have an animation program like this I'll just draw the steps on paper. Do you care if it has some of the same things as yours (ie, the fold-out thing this one has at the end, the tile-flipping from the Hateful Sequence, etc?)

i like the concept of the matrushka box, but i didnt like everything else: doesnt seem logical. the gate opens when the lament configuration is completly solved, and here, from the first moves, theres already a big "crack" in the wall. Also, the name sounds clever, but doesnt work with the video: if its elysian, then the box should look more different of the lc, and it should open the gates of heaven, that could be as scary as those from hell, but with other style.
