Krishnamurti is pointing out one of the most fundamental human qualities. Abstraction of the feeling the the pain (in animals) is taken to extremes with humans. For example, we can feel empathy (the pain of others) for a cartoon warthog and meerkat. I mean people cry for these characters that are just pen and ink. Do you see what Krishnamurti is talking about when he says abstraction?

How do i achieve such great serenity and wiseness as he says ,im only 18 and as far as i remember i always had the desire to save ecological life on this planet,being a naturalist but ..i hv doubts and family objection .what do i do?

@arzoyan Fear definitely arises in the reptilian brain and persists w/ the symbolic-logical brain, however ego-politics and territorial-emotional reactions for control of space, possessions, status is common to the mammalian brain. Humanity at large is still evolving/actualizing the social-sexual brain and a small but significant percent has opened up the 5th Spacious Awareness brain and a few superstar players abide in this awareness and even beyond to I AM Presence, Clear Light of pure intell
