  • Hey guys.. that was a pretty cool flick. I was curious how you gen'd the explosure at 3:44... looked pretty realistic!

  • Hey thanks for the comment. I pretty much just added multiple layers of stock footage onto the comp. then compisited them together, added some color correction

  • What type of camera did you use??? Make and model

  • Panasonic AG-HVX-200A. It's a great camera. A bit costly, but gets the job done well.

  • Hey, I was at the screening for this the other night. I really liked it. Just out of curiosity, have you seen Timecrimes? It's a recent Spanish sci-fi film. You short reminded me of it (in a good way).

  • Hey thanks man, I haven't seen Timecrimes, but I will check it out. I am kinda bummed out that I missed the first screening day, so I will have to check out what happens at the award screening.

  • Yeah, I'm in Fredonia, so I missed the first night, too. Good luck with all your future projects!

  • hey thanks for the comment. Yea, most of the contrast problems has to do with the raw footage being dark already. It was the lightest I could go on most shots. And since it was a cloudy day, once the sun went away, the forest just darkened the whole shot a ton.

  • That's a lot of contrast on the footage... But good work, the forest looks really good.
